I use a Prewed Infrared version during my Singapore trip last month. No need for post processing and the skin tone is almost natural.
I wrote a Travel Infrared article about it in 7th edition iR e-magazine. See some samples there.

One of the most important tip in Infrared Photography is always RAW format. So in Nikon we get NEF files, and in Canon we get CR2 files.

But let me give you another important tips. If you use Nikon, open your RAW files in Nikon Capture NX first, save it to TIFF or JPG format, then you may process the TIFF and JPG files in Adobe Photoshop.

Do NOT open your RAW files straight in Adobe Photoshop.

If we open RAW files in Photoshop, the colors will be different from the original colors. So it will be hard for us to process and find the infrared colors as usual.

It is also important to open RAW files in Nikon Capture NX first, so we can post-set ( change preset after the shot ) the files through RAW/White Balance/ Set Gray Point menu option, and control the combination between red and blue channels.
